2.7 was the latest version of the game before Anniversary Edition, featuring less mechanics and a shorter storyline. 

November 17, 2015: WolfQuest 2.7 launched as a full paid version on Itch.io for Mac and Windows users. At this time, the game included improvements over the previous version (2.5), such as enhanced graphics, new maps, user accounts with achievements, and multiplayer functionality

December 10–23, 2015: The version was Greenlit on Steam, and by March 25, 2016, WolfQuest 2.7 officially launched on Steam

Mobile versions: The iOS release occurred on September 2, 2016, followed by Android and Kindle releases on September 16, 2016

This brought most of the game features, single-player gameplay, and limited multiplayer functionality to mobile players.
