Leon Prater: The Billionaire
"I know exactly who you are and I love it."
Leon Prater is a main character and one of the two primary antagonists of the first season of Dexter: Resurrection, alongside Angel Batista.
Leon Prater is a billionaire venture capitalist with a fascination for serial killers. Assisted by his head of security, Charley Brown, a former special operations soldier, he hosts private gatherings at his estate where murderers are invited to discuss their crimes and connect with others who share similar impulses.
Among the guests is the mysterious Dark Passenger, an identity assumed by Dexter Morgan after he kills the real Ronald Schmidt. Using this disguise, Dexter gains access to Prater's inner circle and begins targeting members of the group. As several killers disappear, are arrested, or are found dead under suspicious circumstances, Prater becomes increasingly interested in "Red" and believes he has formed a genuine bond with him.
Over time, Prater uncovers more information about Dexter and eventually learns of his connection to Harrison Morgan, Dexter's son.

Method of Killing
Leon Prater does not have a specific kill ritual and is not a serial killer himself. His only recorded kill/murder is Angel Batista, who he shot with a handgun.
Enemies/Opponents
Dexter Morgan: Dexter was the principal enemy of Leon Prater. While Prater initially welcomed Dexter under the alias “Red Schmidt" and offered him entry into his network of killers, Dexter ultimately resisted Prater’s schemes to manipulate him into murder, specifically the order to kill Angel Batista. Their conflict escalated as Dexter began systematically eliminating members of Prater's killer network, culminating in Dexter personally killing Prater to end his influence and deadly gatherings.
Angel Batista: Although not initially an adversary in a personal sense, Batista became an enemy indirectly when Prater demanded his death as a condition for Dexter’s loyalty. Batista’s resistance and survival made him a target of Prater’s violence, which intensified the rivalry with both Batista and Dexter.
Family
Leon Prater’s parents are referred to simply as Mr. Prater and Mrs. Prater.
He grew up in New York City, and his childhood was marked by profound tragedy. While sitting in the backseat, young Leon witnessed both of his parents die in a fatal incident caused by Cooper Morris, who later was identified as a serial killer. This traumatic loss left him orphaned and contributed to his fascination with killers and death later in life.
